DON’T ask me if I’m okay if you’re not really interested. Don’t ask me why I was getting upset then make it about yourself. It’s not about you, it’s about me. No, I am not okay and you would know that if you just listened. No, I am not okay and you would hear my cries of help if only you stopped talking about yourself. Don’t tell me you were worried about me having a “mental breakdown” when you were the one telling me I had to take a step back and calm down. You told me to stop yelling but I wasn’t yelling at you. I just wanted to voice my thoughts. If you’re so worried then please I ask YOU to take a step back and see how you blaming yourself is actually making me more upset. I get I didn’t voice my thoughts correctly, but you didn’t give me a chance to. You just made it about yourself when you said you were worried about me. So please, next time you’re worried about me ask me if I’m okay and listen. Don’t get mad when I start crying because sometimes that’s all I need to do. Don’t get upset over my voice getting higher and you think it’s yelling because it’s not, it’s just full of emotion. Don’t tell me you hung up on me because you thought I needed to take a break. Instead, talk softly and hear me out because what I really need is my sister. Please don’t ever ask me if I’m okay if you’re not really interested.
I know The Purge is a movie but why does it feel like that? except of course that the only ones purging are officers and 24/7 rather everybody on a 12 hour limit.
I don’t understand.
I don’t understand why people feel the need to be above others just because of different skin color or religion. Or why they think it is morally right to take those differences and act upon them badly is for the “greater good” according to them.
I don’t understand why some people with “power” think that they are entitled to much more than the rest. Or why they think that they are above the law while the rest have to squirm under the boot of injustice and have to be perfectly fine with it.
I don’t understand why people preach about goodness but act out like true evil. And why there are people celebrating those who have wronged rather than helping those who have been wronged.
To die would be a grand adventure!
